I would agree with the intercooler as well. I havent dealt too much with a turbo idi at elevations like that, but I know egts with my na at 9000' were insane. keeping 70 mph i was right around 1150*. That would be my only thing is drive by the pyro, as previously said.
This is why you need a turho in the first place. You are running "rich" at elevation, because you are getting less air in compared to sea level. Ford de-rated the N/A engine at altitude as it is.
The turbo... basically eliminated that de-rating, but Ford didn't crank the fuel up from N/A spec, so we don't know where the turbo will start having trouble.
This is also why adding a turbo will decrease egts despite cranking the fuel up(check Banks' documentation), because it can run 'leaner' at full throttle.
