Auto Trans Limp Mode Question

Got a t19 collecting dust....

there's nothing wrong with his actual trans.just a sensor located on the driver side which is commonly known to fail in the manner he describes.
he'll have this resolved for under $50 and 5 to 10 mins of his time.without so much as getting any grease under his fingernails.

Limp Mode

Well replace switch on trans with Ford correct part and it did the same thing again the other day only not as bad?....Any ideas?
