Another motor mount thread/ questions with pics

Everything seems to be coming along pretty good, but have some questions on mounts.
The manual talks about the left side mount having a notch and it points forward.
Both of these have notches...???

And the studs on mine are placed differently.

If you look close a person can see the rust/dirt outline where the frame met these mounts before.
So does this mount on the right need to be on a certain side????
Do both notches need to point forward???

Centered studs (left in your pic): notch to rear, passenger side

Offset studs (right in your pic): notch to front, driver side
