I sat in an '89 F-250 extended cab this afternoon, looking for something for my wife. Heheheheh. Started right up (on the 2nd try!) and idled smooth. Oh, felt soo nostalgic. Didn't drive it--needed more work than I have time to put into a truck right now--but was a fairly nice truck nonetheless.

Just need a good, clean, low-mileage IDI with no mechanical problems--for a good price.

Yep they are simple and that's what is great about this engines. What happen to the C conversion?
