My 1989 truck is in extraordinary shape for its age, but could use a little spring cleaning and sprucing up- since many of you are very familiar with this series truck and the range of various accessories for it, where to find them, I'd like to pick your brains on your favorite of the following, including ones you might have yourself but that you'd go with if you were looking now.
Strong preference for USA-made products when possible (I like to recycle my dollars here close to home). Price _is_ a factor (sky is not the limit on the current budget) but at the same time, I'd rather buy a quality product once than buy a cheapo that I have to re-purchase or replace later.
So, here's what I wouldn't mind finding/ keeping an eye out for
(1) stainless steel visors for the side windows that allow you to crack the windows, both parked and rolling, without light rain coming in.
(2) behind-seat storage racks- shelves, etc; bonus if it might have room for or be adaptable for a rifle or shotgun or fishing rod for certain seasons of the year;
(3) small but quality/ reliable fire extinguisher for behind or under the seat.
(4) metal, non-rusting diamond-pattern or other non-slip thresholds/ kick-plates, or whatever you call them, that go just inside the front driver and passenger door/ floor, just above the rocker panel, to protect the edge of the base floor mat
Thanks!
