What Log Book????
Overall, I'm really happy with what I saw on the camping trip this weekend. EGT's dropped from 1200 to 1000 while heavy on the pedal in the daily driver setting (my tow setting stinks). I could get it back up to 1200 if I really pounded on it but I don't tow like that so i wasn 't really concerned. The only downside to the I/C install is the turbo lag. Don't see it empty but loaded down with the 5'er, it's definitely noticeable. Small price to pay tho.
The tranny temps dropped 45*!! Used to run at about 190-195* consistently. The gauge never moved over 155 but stayed on 150 unless I was pulling a hill. I cant wait to get the tranny replaced & drop deep sump pan on it to see how much more it comes down!!
Both of these mods were well worth the time & busted knuckles. I'f you tow for any reason, I'd recommend doing them. Hope someone finds this helpful..
