I have an 01 F-350 a/c blows but only out the defrost vents (on all settings) I was curious, is this a common problem?

It's actually not the blend door, that controls the tempiture. For safety reasons all you damper doors default to the defrost position. they are vacuum operated and run off your vacuum pump. get a vacuum gauge and test in different places you should have between 15 to 19 HG's of vacuum
