Hey guys, I’m new here and looking for a bit of help. Low humming/grinding noise at idle when the engine is at operating temp. 93 7.3 IDI F250. The video below was what I thought might have been it. I replaced the idler pulley and the belt tensioner pulley is brand new but it is still doing the same thing as in the video. It does not slip or growl when cold, only after it warms up. It made me think that it’s the water pump, but it spins free and the truck runs cool.

Please advise. Thanks guys.

There's no video. I think that it's best to put a video on You Tube and then link it here. If you suspect the water pump, remove the belt and grab a fan blade. Try to rock it back and forth. If you can get any movement, you have bad bearings in your water pump. The bearings can be bad without leaking coolant and your engine will stay cool. I've had it happen to me.

Thanks sir. I’ll get that video up and try that when I get back home.
