I'd certainly like to hear others weigh in on this. I remember reading a caviitation article which spelled out I believe the importance of the higher pressure cap to safeguard against cavitation.
I agree, probably better for cavitation to have 13psi cap. I intend to switch back over when in warm weather, plus that raises my boil over point when towing. Even though I have all new cooling components, and a rebuilt engine it can't be good for it to be seeing over 20psi every morning.
