7.3 Powerstroke swapped bricknose

I bought a 7.3 powerstroke swapped brick nose for a good deal but the main issue I’m haveing with it is the wiring harness is a absolute wreck there is no power to the cab and no power to the fuel pump we got it to fire on a small spray of Eather just to make sure it ran but this is my first big project and I don’t exactly know how to address the wiring

Now you know why it was a good deal.

I hope you are familiar with 1st gen OBD wiring harnesses, as they are completely different than how the original analog harness in the Bricknose was designed and works.

You need to determine the year of the engine and go find that EVTM/wiring diagram for the engine and that truck. The superduty 7.3 has different wiring from the OBS 7.3. Then get the EVTM/wiring diagrams for your year of truck. Now get a fresh notebook and start mapping out powers, signals, and grounds between the two and write out a plan and checklist to start blending everything together. Also, having the powertrain control electrical diagnostic manual (PCED) for that year Powerstroke will help you troubleshoot problems as you come across them.
