Ok guys, I’ve got a 93 f250 4x4 reg. can (rust bucket) with 7.3, E4od, 1356 t-case. I got a little rough with it over the weekend. Got hung up on some rocks at the river, slammed it in and out of forward and reverse! Busted the extension housing between the tranny and t-case. Tore down the t-case, every thing looks good (normal wear for 190,000 miles). Tearing down E4od, stuck on the last snap ring on the output shaft! (Giving me pure hell)! So far everything looks good here also with the exception of needing upgrades (tranny is bone stock with 190,000 miles). Everything ran good before I busted the extension housing, except I had a quick shift from 2-3! I found my valve body gasket was blown out when tore it down. So I’m asking for (affordable) options! Emphasis on affordable!!! The 7.3 is n/a with no plans to do any upgrades to it. May increase tire size in the future!
