When it dies pull filter and see if it is full. Did you check lift pump psi? If you fill tanks it should stop if it was the pickup tube or shower head. I would get a new filter and when it dies pull it and see if it is full, then change filter if you suspect it is clogged, I don't know how many miles are on it. If tanks are full and you replace filter and it still does it I would suspect lift pump or fuel line problem based on the info you posted.
