first of all, the mounting bracket is cheap and plastic. :smash:
second, 1/4" NPT for fittings?? :fart

but it does seperate water.
supposedly it puts out 9-11 psi...
we shall see.
MADE IN THE U.S.A.

i see alot of you guys running this on your firewall,
i suspect this pump is designed to pull fuel?

im almost tempted to leave the holley black pump in.....
thoughts?

Run it! You will like it. Remember, the fuel filter head has 1/4 NPT threads. The Facet I am pretty sure has 1/8th inch. It moves plenty of fuel.

It is a solenoid operated diaphragm pump. It pulls better than it pushes, but I have mine on the frame rail under the drivers door. I have had no problems running mine. Once in a while, at full throttle, under heavy load, the "fuel filter" light will just start to illuminate, but it's only happened two or three times. Hasn't affected the way the truck runs that I have noticed...

you are 100% correct.
1/8" NPT
my error.
just seems too damn small.
i want to run some brass pipe as nipples for as much fuel flow as it can get!

I have one on my truck. made a bracket to hang it off the fuel filter tower. Works great. never had a problem with it for 40,000 odd miles. can be a little loud, but that is just because it solenoid operated as cpdenton mentioned. one the truck starts you wont hear it, just when you are cycling the glow plugs.

Angle bracket mounted on the fender well is how I have it mounted and others do to . These pumps work great and will shoot fuel across the engine bay at the schrader valve on the fuel filter so watch out. . And if you're burning 33gph you have one fast IDI :peelout The pumps are called dura lift for a reason self primes to to 10 feet so you can mount it on your cb whip if you want these also have a seriously long service life. The are used as OEM equipment on the diesel powered ****** units on semi trailers that sit in the wet, dirty salty road spray for years.

Another vote to run it. As was said, every once in a while the fuel filter light will flicker just a bit. For me I've only ever noticed it in second gear at wot.

Bracket off inner fender for mine.
