You might want to try it with the T-19 first, and swap in the ZF later. It will allow you to get more of an idea of what you did right, before introducing more variables.

It's ok. It's one of three early Commandos and two CJ5's. I'm familiar with my Jeeps. If you saw the Commando and knew what we had in mind, you'd understand. We are not afraid of fab work.

Thanks guys for all the info. I'm going to move forward with this project.
I'm going to find out what the salvage yard wants for the motor,trans, trasfercase and all the wiring and all the stuff that has anything to do with it.
I'm hopeing in the next 2yrs to start putting this together. Its going to be a conplet tare down and rebuilding.

Thanks again. I know I'll be back with more questions. This is my frist diesel project.:shocked:
