Yes; tightening each bolt a few threads at a time will work. Take them out the same way.

So what did you find?

Sorry it took so long to reply I had some had a lot things going on and truck went on the back burner. So I pulled the valve covers removed the rocker arms and low and behold it’s a broken exhaust valve. I guess it didn’t take much of turning the crank back and forth to snap it off. So I sent to the machine shop to have the head checked out and new valve put in and I’ll be putting it back together.
