Hard start, new DB2 & new fuel lines on back end of lift pump.
I recently got a new DB2 pump and fuel lines installed in my 6.9. Ever since the new DB2 was installed my starting when cold has been very tough and hard, lots of white unburnt diesel coming out the back. Glow plug removal tips?
So all 8 glow plugs are bad and the truck will not start unless I use starting fluid. I don't use much just a quick spray. I know using starting fluid is bad but as of right now I can't afford to pull a head cause a g low plug snapped off. So is there any tips and tricks to remove the glow plugs...- Daniel McCurdy

So I just drove my 1985 6.9idi truck from Washington to Colorado. (Elevation from 100ft to 7000ft). Before I left I changed the injection pump which was on its way out. Hard starting when warm
Here is the situation with my 1985 6.9idi, When I first start the truck for the day it starts great, 2 or 3 cranks.
