Best electric lift pump options?

Does anyone make a kit to convert from V-Belts to Serpentine?
I hate changing v-belts! Hate the slop in the alternator belt! I've thought about the serp conversion...keep in mind, you won't have belts break if you inspect them regularly and replace as needed. Has any one tried the knock off holley pumps?
yes. I bought A pro comp black for 80 bucks...came with regulator. It was so loud I could hear it over the motor! Failed within 6 months. Running a holly blue now...love it!- DarkwingDork

From the looks of the diagram, positive current goes from the fuse panel, through the heat select switch (closes circuit in all positions except off) then flows to the blower motor. Rebuild the IDI, or swap in a Cummins
My thoughts exactly...i will build one eventually...maybe not my current truck, but I will have one within the next 10 years. The dodge trucks fall apart, the transmissions are junk, and the parts are harder to find. The powerstroke is a waste of money, cummins is your best bet. ~Jon- DarkwingDork

80-90 deffinately don't have the relay. Plan on doing that mod, will write a tech article for it. I'll post a link to my website as soon as i get the kinks ironed out of apache...it's all about mods to IDI motors and other parts of our trucks. Later! ~Jon- DarkwingDork
