Before you rip into it , try Torqueing down the Injector in question ( 10 ft-lbs)....could be just that . Acutally I would check them all once you have cover off- fuurgoncin

an O ring only holds it seal once...you cannot "swap" them out....you need new o-rings... always..... everywhere..........rebuild it....and reverse flush the block ....how recent is the waterpump ?- fuurgoncin

unfortunately you need to rebuild /replace the oil cooler....change the oil and replace the ICP and maybe the IPR just for kicks and giggles you most likely ly have corrupted the hpop and the entire HUEI system so you need to start over...AT least I would...- fuurgoncin

You would be better of getting rebuilt injectors if you really want to improve mileage.....I have to do it soon too and I am getting Stage 1's form either Swamps or Rosewood ..... 350 Kms is nothing.....I have over 450,000 kms on mine and it is a beast ......I will put stage ones in soon since oil tests shows excellent condition .... I did the o-rings at 335,000 kms and changed the IPR and ICP s and a couple IDM's , fuel pump, thermostat , blah, blah , blah ...- fuurgoncin

Can't pull codes
I have an AutoTap ...It works with a laptop.....Another one is AE which also needs a laptop and then there is a Snap-on MT2500 ...all need the Powerstroke software / modules to pull codes ..my truck is a 95 ....- fuurgoncin

Could also be the fuel restriction sensor...Ford calls it a Vacuum switch...I just removed mine and used a 50 cent plug instead. If you change your fuel filters as specified you don't need it...- fuurgoncin

The 03 transmissions are the good ones . all you have to do is take care of it. Install a guage and a good cooler maybe a aluminium pan with a drain plug and you will be fine. You have to replace the entire hinge . . . go to a Junkyard and pull some off. I never had any luck with the repair kits. The doors are just to heavy.- fuurgoncin
