    dead batteries??

    i Had both my factory batteries replaced with the OEM batteries while i was deployed my dad was watching the truck and he paid for them. I'd sure like to know how they seem to go bad so often.

    yup thanks guys i actually do have a block heater just no cord. apparently all 2005+ fords come with it now.. just no cords unless you live in certain states where it comes standard. big help. located near starter you say?

    how long does the typical filter last b4 it needsto be reoiled? i realise that it depends on driving conditions, but under normal driving conditions, very rare instances of full throttle, no dirt/dust clouds or off road.. what would you guys speculate?

    Nice input all , how do you know when the filter needs to be re-oiled? i dont drive my truck hard or through the dirt clouds and whatnot, so i think i will be ok with it not colapsing on me. but input on the re-oiling would be helpful.

    head gasket popping? how much boost do u have to be pushing to do that? i drive my 6.0 like a grandma and im running the economy tune. Anyone have any advice if i dont beat on my truck or push more power in my honest opinion my truck should be fine... right? lol

    Trying to figure out why some people hate the K&N filter system? i have it on my truck and doesnt seem to have any problems working, better throttle response and seems to produce the extra hp/tq.
