new ip, injectors, injector cap and o rings
my ip is inline with the line on the oil fil neck
which way would i turn it to get more power?
not sure about grade these hills in arkansas.
o yea put an electric fuel pump on it to.
having problems pulling 7000lbs up hills with my 86 6.9l ats turbo.
puttin out 8 psi. dont have a clue what gear i have in it.
also blows little black smoke.
is there any thing else i can do??
well turns out the holley red is on back order from the auto parts store so picked up an elcheapo myself for now until i can order it from summit.
so the line from the filter to the ip and the actual fitting on the ip?
i'll check mine out today and let ya'll know.
well i bypassed the water seperater awhile back. so it is either the lift pump
orderd the holley red yesterday be here friday. or maybe the supply line from the filter to the ip.
so would a 10-13 be alright
i have tried all tests as far as using clear hose at all points and looking for bubbles. don't seem to be any. but now runs like poop. dont think the pump as enough pressure.
i don't get it it will run good one mile then act like its only hittin on 4 cyclinders or something the next mile then it'll run good then just cuts out and dies
its an 86
i think the lift pump went out just replace 400 miles ago.
i say this because i tee'd a vacuem pump to the fuel tank hose
and no bubbles.
hopefully
bubbles
alright got back from another check and what i done this time was install a clear hose around the fuel filter. just unscrewed the line going in the filter and coming out the filter. seen quit a few bubbles. going to parts store now in search of holley red.

yes i replaced all o-rings, hoses, caps. they sent copper washers i guess for the injectors but mine are about 100 miles old so didn't fool with that.
hello
i have been trying to track down the bubbles in my system
it looks like there coming from the return line. i say this because i installed a clear hose there at the filter to #7 return line and bubbles appear to be coming from the filter and flow towards the injector but i have seen...
