I've read a bunch on this topic but still not sure I understand....I have 12V to the GP relay that drops to about 10v on both relay terminals when the key is turned on....I get a little under 10V at the glow plugs...glow plugs are new Motorcraft and GP relay is new...the wait to start light...
Finally got everything I need to time my engine...Snap on pulse reader and timing light that I can program in the advance and see the rpms...messed with it some today, at 2K rpm the mark on the pully is quite a ways up from the timing mark in the tab...does that mean its to far advanced?
When I bought my new to me 1993 F350 IDI Non turbo a while back it was blowing blue smoke so I decided to do a few things...installed new return lines, added a electric fuel pump and a rubber filter to pump kit(the hard line fittings were screwed up)...I also installed new Motorcraft glow...
