The engine was just went through, (stem to stern) i seen on possibly a Cummins vloggers ch more than once where they pull one head bolt at a time, and replacing with an aftermarket head stud (to avoid...- Lezgo Brandon

"Idiots" (Aka we idi folk) fwirc "Idi_ots" was thrown around quite loosely back in the day (my bad, must have fallen off since then) but re; heads being already off, they weren't planning on being removed as the engine has approximately 500> miles from complete tare down, so initially thinking...- Lezgo Brandon

Electric pump conversion question
What pump you going with & where you mounting? (Finally found a reasonably priced running 69 for the 93 OBS 7tree "idied" head gasket) R&R comin soon, Along with ARP just arrived today then finding best way to not melt down the 69 with the sidewinder from the 7tree(likely hold off on sidewinder...- Lezgo Brandon

Myself, Cheers) Surprised no one chimed in, so opposite setup, i'm a 7tree idiot, with sidewinder, going to 6.9 sw, gotta get all the exhaust jewelry hanging off the meat and potatoes part that "y" portion I'm sure is specific to banks is all...- Lezgo Brandon

Thanks. Option 2 yank/heads (gaskets -studs as it does have sidewinder on her) /fuel delivery gone through, but that's not cheap either. :drunk:- Lezgo Brandon

New here y'all forgive me, all thumbs for a Lil while, but, I ran across this 6.9L supposedly runs fine (no trans) question is: Does $1750 sound a bit extreme even if it's a 6.9? (& not a 7.3 IDI with at MINIMUM Head gasket(s) failure 500psi in all plugs Sept for 7&8 300 ea) and complete fueling...- Lezgo Brandon

Tharrs also DCS (Diesel Conversion Specialists) I myself busted windshield-perfect purring 97 3500 DRW 2WD NV4500 12valve bucket o rust and a blown Head gasketed 7tree idi 93 4" lift 4x4 , believe me, my mind says "do it!" Outback in the dirt my wallet (& low back ) says part ways with the obs...- Lezgo Brandon

BILLOWING white smoke
My 7tree had same smoke, oil fine, no other sign of hg issue minus the dead miss (and 300 psi in cylinders 7&8 compression test her yet? )- Lezgo Brandon
