    Ok, 1984 f250, 6.9, t19, 2wd...new fuel (lift) pump, new front tank and sending unit, switch valve ok...was getting air intrusion when running on front tank, hesitation, surging...rear tank worked fine...went thru the front tank, now rear tank doing the same thing and gauge is not reading...

    Ok, so, how do I tell what sending unit to order for the front tank on a 1984 f250 6.9idi? Several are on the web...some with a pump, some without, some for a 17 gallon tank, some for a 19 gallon tank... Do I remove the old one and go from there, or is there a way to tell either from the door...

    Ok, just for sh**s -n- giggles.... any comments on doing a cab swap on an '84 F250? Like taking off the 84 cab, and installing oh say a 1952 cab...or whatever would fit without a whole lot of fabrication..
