Ignition switch help
Thought I had a bad ignition lock cylinder, on my '86 F350. It has the 6.9 diesel. I replaced the ignition lock cylinder this morning and still have the same problem. They key will turn to the "on" position, then turns too far and will not engage the starter. I can still start the truck by...- firegod33

911: blown injector line in baker city OR

IDI to PSD swap
I have an '86 CC, F350 4x4 that I bought a couple of years ago. It has the 6.9 IDI diesel, 4 spd combo. The IDI is a great engine, but takes a while to get up to speed. Dash swap?
I'm going to be swapping a '95 7.3 Powerstroke in place of the 6.9 IDI, in my '86 CC F350, soon. The wiring in the truck is trashed, so I'm thinking I'm just going to swap the entire wiring harness from the organ donor into the '86.
