7.3L IDI hypermax turbo
Hey all. Wandering if anyone has any ideas on my 1994 Ford motorhome diesel. It’s got the 7.3L international IDI and I put a hypermax turbo on it. It doesn’t seem to be getting any more power and the exhaust temp is pretty high (1200) when putting on a load saying climbing highway hills. Also...- kleiner

7.3 loses power
My 7.3L IDI loses power under load. Has just over 200,000 km on motor. Injection pump never been touched and same injectors. Is it time for a new pump and injectors?- kleiner

I have a 1994 ford 350 class C motorhome. Normal driving, it runs fine. When it is under a load pulling a horsetrailer with 2, 1000 lb horses it has a hard time getting to the top of some hills( reaching 30 to 40 Km/hr). It also smokes black a lot while under load.
