Injection pump for 94 idit upgrade
The truck has 108,000 miles on it. When it sits 20 min or so after being hot it runs ruff for a min and smokes . Figured i would replace pump due to miles on it and replace injector caps and return lines. Also pulling air in from rear tank. Looks to be leaking around selector valve. Thought...- Themudgician

Injection pump for 94 idit upgrade
Hi. Im going to replace my injection pump on my 94 idit. Does anyone recommend a preferred pump for this truck with factory turbo. I would like a better performing truck but dont want to stud the heads. Thanks for any info.- Themudgician

Just letting everyone know i figured out what was causing the code 29 ( loss of vss signal to pcm ) it was the psom module on back of the speedometer. I got a replacement speedometer at junk yard and she shifts like brand new again.- Themudgician

Hi im getting a intermittent code 29 with harsh shifts. Some days its fine other days i cant make it out of my driveway without slamming in gear. My speedometer always seems to be working fine and is always steady. I pulled the psom module out and couldnt see any burnt parts. Anybody have any...- Themudgician

Smokes and runs rough after setting 20 min
Ok i did notice today the fuel filter light pop on a few times when i was getting in the throttle pretty good. I ordered a new filter hopefully that helps. Thanks for the input- Themudgician

Ok , i did find a receipt that it had injectors replaced around 20,000 miles ago. Im guessing it is original injection pump. I dont see any leaks. I did change a few bad return hoses and replaced a few clamps with no change. It basically acts like a gas motor thats flooded when it starts up. Its...- Themudgician
