    WHAT COULD THIS MEAN????

    Will that actually cause a problem with the tranny. I ask cause first I started realizing that the tranny changes gears at weird rpm. I'm hoping my tranny isn't messed up. How much does this tach sensor go for and is it ok to drive the truck until I can get it

    Ok so this might sound stupid but how do I fix this and where is this sensor located and maybe someone had a diagram or am I over thinking this. Also how do I know what tranny I have. Sorry for the stupid questions.

    Ok so I'm coming out of my local CVS store and i get in my 93 f250 7.3 idi and start her up,,, everything was fine except that i noticed that my rpm gauge was bouncing up and down from like 600 to 1000 to 0.... then it would just stay on 0 until i hit the pedal however the engine did not...
