I'm modifying my core support to swap to the tall radiator vs the wide.
My wide core has a rubber sheet that's pinned to the bottom of the core on one side and the other lays in the bottom of the bumper. Essentially a big rubber air deflector.
Does the factory tall radiator have a piece like...
I've read some of those before. I just ordered an aluminum radiator from Champion, but I went with the 2 core American Eagle 1" tube one.
I'm slowly working on getting it installed. I'm converting from the short/wide radiator so I have some fab work to do.

That one looks like it's too wide for the base too. Gasket needs to be under 3". Thanks though. What would the price be on a plugged head?

I tried to figure a way to mount the standard group 65 to the passenger fender area, but gave up. There is too much other shit in the way. I ended up putting the second battery in the box under my flatbed.

Yeah, I've seen that. It's over 7" tall though so it won't fit in the factory location. I may be stuck, I've not been able to find any shorter ones.

33417 is the filter I have. I replaced the head because the fuel heater plug was leaking and the previous owner had jacked it up trying to seal it off.

I replaced my leaking stock head with the wix 4770 head. Now I need to find a fuel water separator filter that will screw on it in the factory location (7.3). I thought the normal filter would work but the filter gasket is bigger than the base.
Anyone have a number that fits?

Good looking truck. Small world too. I'm in Salt Lake County, a member of RME, and I used to work with slc97sr5's father-in-law.

Pure nitrogen doesn't fluctuate as much as air. In these old truck it's really no big deal. Where it helps is in newer vehicles with tpms systems.

Most, if not all, current load range E radials are 8ply.
They are generally marked 10PR. Which is 10 play rated. Equivalent to a 10 ply bias.

I shipped my R&D IP back for warranty. It was delivered to R&D Oct 10th. I just got a tracking number for it coming back Wednesday. Today the tracking number still says waiting to be picked up.

Good news! Sounds like they are going to let me return it for a refund.
So, where to get my 088 rebuilt now? @Thewespaul do you rebuild?

Don't know if that first one worked.
