bro, address this NOW. if that arm falls into your gears, you can possibly destroy the engine. i also had the idea of drilling and tapping a small set screw into the side to hold the pin. this is a big liability concern of mine another reason for not really being hot on this. i actually had a...- IDIoit

i used a factory lift pump arm, slightly modified. i dont know what went wrong with it, or if the kid i gave it to even installed it right. it never got back to me, so i had to scrub it. but @KansasIDI stepped up! he bought a nice billet pump. when it comes in, ill put a new arm on it. put it...- IDIoit

decking the block is always a good idea when youre having machine work done. when im just re-ringing and bearing, i cover the deck surface with dykem and use a 24" machinist stone and rib the deck with some WD-40 then check the unaffected dye with a straight edge.if its more than .003" out...- IDIoit
