6.0 Shopping, what to look for?
Appreciate all the help. I ended up with a 2006 single cab F350 4wd. It has 260k on the clock, with head gaskets done at 80k per oasis. Prev owner towed with it, changed the oil at every 3k. Model year differences in the 7.3 94-97 vs 99+
I am in the market for a 94-97 F350 7.3 What are the major differences between this model year and the 99+? This truck would be my personal truck but I am going to make it work(towing, hauling etc) Do I lose on anything major from picking the early year ranges? Thanks for the help.- Dieselrob

94 started the factory turbo idi, correct?
Thanks for the welcome. I should have clarified I want the factory turbo IDI, just wanted to see what year ranges I was looking at, I've found a couple -clean- non turbo F350 duallys, but I was hoping to snag a factory turbo one. So the search goes on. Light towing, personal working...- Dieselrob
