Alright, what is the best battery for extremely cold climates.

Just order Kats 11605 for $12.00 delivered from eBay. 600 watt version I checked there web site to confirm direct replacement. They make both 600 and 1000. They have lots. best year for 6.9?
Mid 85 engines have a 85 cast on the heads and block. Large can't miss it. But really there all good, most the crack issues are long gone and those blocks retired. 1983 being the exception do to parts interchange. Bull nose trucks take 31's without any mods! Both mine have 31's from Motor Trucks (International) in them, made by Exide (not my favorite) but they said they are the best and say they use them in ALL!!! trucks. Orielly's Zerostart, check different numbers 3100043 oem 1000 watt, 3100045 smaller 600watt, 3100042 smaller yet 400 watt. All these confirmed fit!!!! Price goes down to $25.00ish on one. 1983 f250 6.9 oil pressure problems
TACK weld around the spot that broke then go to the mount that bolts to the main cap, check it, more than likely cracked too, under or around the nut. Tack it too then remove it and weld pump point first, then main cap spot. I run a few extra weld lines around to strengthen all those points...- darkbluefoxbody2

Well Since this is the EXACT!! thing I've seen so many times, I always weld them up now! I think they change the metal type on 7.3's after 92 as there aren't as many broken. i dont believe in mechanic in a bottle but check this stuff out
been using it for few years, every tank and in all my farm equip. Never had a failed pump or injectors yet!!! Everything is super high hours and miles. 329,000, 289,000, and 319,000 on 1994 7.3 idi turbo pumps that have never been apart still sealed factory screws. Front and Rear Sway Bars
D60 front sway bar bolt right on any F250, bolt holes "Should" be there mine were. D60 sway bars are mount to the rear behind the axle, gasser F250 are too the front, "Some" F250 non a/c short wide radiator Diesel models had front sway bars too, only with short core support. WTH? HEATERCORE!!! @#$@!!!!
Cheap parts!!! all made off shore, had to replace my 1984 Mustang SVO one every year like clock work, (parked it for this reason) No real parts avail. anymore. try to find a good used one some place, at least F series are easy. Just purchased F250 6.9
You be fine, used is used so I'd bolt it all in and run it. Injectors are all close enough to make it run. Pump will MAYBE put out a little more but they all run if working at all. 7.3 return line is different but just swap your 6.9 stuff over, and charge batteries!!!!- darkbluefoxbody2

Just purchased F250 6.9
It will work fine, the TPS!!! is not really but its for the E4od on the 7.3, your other pump doesn't have it so I'm assuming its a 4 speed. Bolt on and go!- darkbluefoxbody2

THERMOSTAT motorcraft VS stant
Chimcom is crapola! Bought a rig with 7.3 that dropped a valve and blew both head gaskets along with cracked heads with one them Chimcoms just put in it. Best IP number or year too have rebuilt ?
End of the year bonus check coming soon (Not very much at all) and have all these IP sitting around. I want to have one rebuilt so I don't have to worry about it, or in case I need it. 1983 f250 6.9 oil pressure problems
Check gauge but I have had three 6.9 that cracked the pickup tube at mounting bolt then vib'ed for years till broke at pump. Always ran but no psi at idle and NO going up hills!!!! This was a common issue early on So I now plan to pull all 6.9 I get to weld up or replace pickup tube. Side note...- darkbluefoxbody2

Autozone Fl1995, K&n, and mobil 1 all there, watch the adds, I buy gasser oil 5 qt 10w30 specials ($19.99-$31.99) but get my Diesel filters as a upgrade! CHEAP disel filters that way. Junk Yard $250.00 6.9 is a "A" engine ?
Well its apart and is a .020 IHC rebuild, bronze valve guides (explained PC seals on exhaust) 7.3 valves, Mahle pistons .010/.010 crank. IHC gaskets, decent but has TONS of carbon inside the ports and cylinders. Maybe someone ran without a air filter? Kinda smells like French Frys Too...- darkbluefoxbody2

Well I messed up and my engine is just your plain old "B" engine, miss read the serial number #103059 and its a mid late 1984 so the heads are the originals, Kinda feel better now knowing she's all oem and in great shape. Still has the exhaust manifold locking tabs on both which ended early on...- darkbluefoxbody2

Anyone know if the 1983 6.9 head cc's are the same as 1984+. My $250.00 early 1984 6.9 has been rebuilt or updated at some time and the heads were changed to 855C1 castings. F250 4x4 front swaybar
Didn't make it out back today, ankle was too bad. The F350 d60 sway bar mount solid to the axle and the end links mount to frame behind the axle. This won't work on a TTB do to the sway on each side. US Gear Dual Range / Doug Nash Info
Had one for years behind a gasser 5.8L H.O. C6 2wd, DNE2 It was the underdrive model not overdrive so I rarely used it. sterling 10.25 axle seal
From my old days working on brakes Daily! Take out outer bearing put racheting nut back on too spindle turn few turns by hand and slam hub back and forth till seal comes out staying on axle.
