Limits of N/A connecting rods? Will turbo rods=rebalancing engine?
I am considering a major freshen up for my 93 NA 7.3. I would like to go the full route and add a 2nd hand used turbo on it (checking on fleabay). can you replace the fuel tank pickup fitting with piece of hose?
Like everyone else, my tanks are 19 gallons but if I get 10-12 gallons out of them it is a lot. My truck sits high in the back and when the front tank gets low (but with 6-7 gallons of diesel still in it), fuel sloshes away from the pickup during braking and it sucks air and dies. 22.5s on a dually-what width wheels??
The salvage yard by me has gotten a buyout of 22.5 alcoa wheels. All are from 18 wheelers (kenworth/peterbilt) and all are 8.25" width for $150 each. Do the commercial 22.5 kits (southwest / chromewheel) use 7.5 or 8.25 wide wheels?? I am thinking of using a set of 255/70/22.5 tires on my 93...- DLSF350
