    I actually took 3m foil tape and wrapped the male part of the up pipe to take up the space and it made for a nice tight fit then i coated it with high temp copper rtv like Wes said and it’s been leak free and up to 1100 egt at 15psi of boost

    update I put the turbo on and the up pipe was leaking slightly,I could see some soot around the joint.I took TheWesPaul's advice and put some copper rtv on the joint and no more leak.     That’s great to hear i have the same turbo and baby moose. Just put the turbo on and not sure of boost and egt yet and it would be interesting to see how much boost can be achieved by just adjusting the waste gate and then after turning up the fuel.keep us posted

    It looks like it may seal ok on its own. I have also heard of people using stove pipe cement. I have seen donuts as thin as 1/8” maybe that might do it
