Tensioner pulley
Going to go change the pulley Tomorrow just the pulley. The truck is 110 miles away so I need to take tools with me. Tensioner pulley
I can buy the whole tensioner or just the pulley, The difference in price is about $30. is the pulley pressed on or would it be easier just to change the whole tensioner? going in about an hour to go buy the parts......- Thatguy

Will Ether cause the glow plugs to swell?
I have been told that using starting fluid will cause glow plugs to swell making them almost impossible to pull them out of the heads. Is this true if the glow plugs are not working (by-passed and unhooked GPC) because it starts so much easier with ether when the temp drops below 30*F. I was...- Thatguy

won't start
It was running just fine when I shut it off last night. I tried to start it earlier today and nothing. It has been hard starting when cold since I got it, all the glow pugs work, how well they work I got no idea just that all 8 work, got about a 20-30 second glow time before they cycle off. fuel filter restriction sensor

pre turbo exhaust leak
if I have a pre turbo exhaust leak........ driverside ....... would that make it sound like a missing cylinder? plenty of power, running smooth, no loping ....... just sounds like a slight miss (under load) and it obviously has an exhaust leak.- Thatguy
