    Exhaust question

    So I noticed there is some heavy soot coming from the tailpipe. After running it for a few it looks like there's black Styrofoam floating around on the ground. Lots of black smoke when wide open throttle and I do have an oil leak. I have noticed there is some wet under the IP.

    Yeah sorry for starting another oil thread but when I try to do a search on my phone for stuff it takes forever to find something. I ended up doing the Shell Rotella but only because they had 4 gallons of it in stock.

    I see my post didn't go through that I bought this big pig. Off the tip of everyone's head, what size sockets or tools are required to drop the oil pan and reseal it. I don't have my hand tools on me so I'll need to access the ones from an autozone as it's the closest parts place to me.

    Yes there is another IDI in the background, if you are interested in that one they are willing to sell it for $700 and it's located in CA. It is a used U-Haul 14' box truck, MAJOR oil leak and the C-6 trans is shot to hell.

    Well my plans are to add living quarters to the box so it would qualify as a "RV" or car home. I will be registering it in either ?Nevada or South Dakota as both states have no income tax, or require going to a state office to renew the tags.

    Out of curiosity, how did they know what your folks paid for the RV? I never once mentioned what I spent on my truck to the insurance adjuster, truth be told I've made a little from my original purchase price but not if you figure in the new alt, thermo and tach sensor, belts, air intake and such.
