jumping a dual battery set up
Dumb question: I have my first diesel truck and it has two batteries. Do I have to do anything special to jump it or can I just connect my ranger battery to one of the two batteries on the diesel?- nicknd

Truck won't start...not turning over, starter not engaging, nothing working
I jumped in my 1985 F350 diesel this morning and it wouldn't start. When I let it sit in the "on" position (so the annoying buzzing would go away) I noticed the radio wasn't working and none of the dash lights came on. I tried to start it and got nothing. 2wd F-series....not 100% sure if I want to get one
I would like to see some pics of you truck owners who have 1980-1997 body styles. Doesn't matter if it's gas or diesel. I want to buy one of these 3 body styles again next spring or summer. I like having 4wd, but honestly I've truly needed it maybe 2 or 3 times. Anyway, I will be getting a truck...- nicknd

1993 front doors....will they fit 1980-1997?
Will 1993 model year doors fit any f-series truck from 1980-1997? The curve of the front of the doors looks to be the same on all these years....- nicknd

Really, REALLY, stupid question, but....
where do you add motor oil on a 6.9 diesel? I just went to add some an couldn't find an oil filler cap near the block. I'm guessing I add oil to the thing where you take the cap off to check for blow by? Please bear with me, this is my first diesel. This is the "thing" I'm talking about.- nicknd

6.9 rebuild
So I just bought a 1985 F350 for $1500. It's a Midwest truck and has a little rust, but it's probably 1/10 as bad as a typical 25 year old truck around here. Anyway, I plan to completely tear down the truck and restore it over the next few years. The restoration won't start until next summer, so...- nicknd
