    1994 f350 7.3 idi turbo??

I have one for sale at it is a 1994 idi 4x4 CrewCab with the zf-5 and the main thing about these trucks is the cost of repair. Injectors are much cheaper for an example and not to hard to change out yourself. You can get lots of parts from International versus Ford which really helps. Lots of...

    Still no Boost

I think I found the problem. I have 2 trucks and on the little one you can move the rod going to the turbo exhaust housing on the big one, the one with the low boost, the arm will not move. I sprayed it down but it got dark on me. I will try and free it up some time this week and see. Is...

    Still no Boost

Like you said, must be the gauge. I will start there. The truck runs good just the acceleration is not good in top gear, but it never has been

    Still no Boost

EGT's look good just under 300 going down the road, nothing above 600. The low boost is keeping my egt's low. The turbo is factory but I had it inspected when I did the ATS turbo housing upgrade, which has been a few years but not that many miles.

    Still no Boost

I was getting 11 psi of boost, than I had some fuel problems and changed out the fuel system and thought the boost would come back up. I had reduced boost before all the fuel parts, but not this bad. Must be a leak some where or the motor is bad

    Still no Boost

Back the timing OFF, everybody said to increase it for today's new diesel. I have it marked with a lower timing setting, what should I lower it to? I was loosing boost before the fuel repairs, I thought more fuel would increase the boost. Will check for leaks again but doubt it, I had some on...

    Still no Boost

I just replaced the injectors with Stanadyne G codes that were pop tested, rebuilt IP, new o-rings, caps and return line. Clean Air filter, fuel filter has less than 1,000 miles on it. The truck has been timed and is at 10 degrees. I can only get maybe 3 lbs of boost if I nail it in top gear...

    Fan clutch removal help?

Once I knew which way it turn, it came off no problem. Like someone said, you don't want to get to crazy with impacts or heat since you will take out the water pump. I was looking at the new parts threads to see which way to turn, but noticed the arrows did not match and thats when I posted here...

    Fan clutch removal help?

I got the tools to remove the fan clutch from the auto parts store, but I just can't seem to get the old fan clutch off. It is hard to hold the keeper and pry on the wrench. My question is: are these fan clutch right to tight or left to tight. In other words do I press the wrench towards the...

    New A/C problem

Thanks for the help, I will install the new fan clutch and see what the pressures look like. I would hate to flush everything again, but if I need to I will get the stuff from carquest. FTI stumpjumper, when it hits 70 degrees downs here we have the heater on and wearing heavy jackets, also...

    New A/C problem

It is working now, the compressor will now stay on until it hits the high switch at 425, but at least it is working. I think adding the oil to the drier was the problem. Once the oil cleared out it is working. The weird thing is I did not change anything, I was going to get some readings and it...

    New A/C problem

I don't understand "leaking freon back out". The High side is good, so that to me says no clog in the system or a weak compressor, but before I changed the condenser the high side would hit the limit at 425, of course the low side was good then. So you are saying I have a leak after the orifice...

    New A/C problem

Sorry, the pressure quickly goes to zero with the compressor kicked on.

    New A/C problem

It holds 2 3/4 or .94 kg. I had 2 1/2 cans and I tried to add some more, I got maybe another 1/2 can which brings me to 3, but I had a leak at the drier. I did the jumper and the high side is OK, it goes to 325 which is not bad since it is over 100 degrees today, but the low side goes to 0 and...

    New A/C problem

I added more R-134 and I am sure I am over charged, but still no effect as far as the cycling. Just on for a second or two and then off for awhile. It is hard to get a reading with the system not cycling, but I did change the cycle switch and no change. I did notice it takes a long time for the...

    New A/C problem

I had a clogged condenser and I installed a new one along with a new drier and O-tube. I removed and drained the compressor overnight and I ran thinner through the evaporator since this would be the only thing to hold oil, I also ran thinner through the lines. I wanted to get the correct amount...

    A/C gods needed

I just changed the dryer, but will go ahead a install a new one. One question, when I measure and add the oil, should I add it to the compressor itself? In other words should I remove the compressor and then add the oil via the suction side after I remove the line? FYI, mine is the one with...

    A/C gods needed

It has a non-ford compressor and no the 0-tube was pretty clean. Of course the previous owner could of changed the o-tube and left the contaminated condenser. I will try a new condenser, flush the newish evaporator, lines and compressor. Then add 7 oz of oil to the compressor reconnect, vacuum...

    A/C gods needed

I am having A/C problems, not cooling very cold and building high pressures. I have changed out the evaporator, orifice, and drier. I had a leak on the high pressure port and I broke the high pressure sensor, So the system had no freon, I fixed the above items and I pull vacuum on the system...

Intake Hat for ATS 085 Intercooler Install

I have a ATS intake hat for the intercooler setup and mine has a long bolt to secure it to the intake. I did not have to move the oil dipstick or get rid of the A/C and there is room for the intercooler and the A/C heat exchanger (condenser)
