94 PSD w/ 96 Block - Was Runnig Earlier Today....
HPOP went POP! LOL! The HPOP, IPR? and one other sensor went up in smoke. I am also having the low pressure oil pump replaced while they are in there. I'm suprised that the pump gave up just like that - after letting off the hammer. Oh well.- cheetah

94 PSD w/ 96 Block - Was Runnig Earlier Today....
I'm thinking it's the IPR as well. But since I'm not sure, I had it towed to Different strokes of AK. The truck will be pulling a fully loaded, fully enclosed 20X8X6.5 trailer from Anchroage to San Antoino, TX in early April. I need it fixed properly! I'll post back after the truck gets...- cheetah

I changed the cps and still a no start. I have, in the past gotten the p1273 code -iirc its the presure regulator. I have gotten that code before when I made the engine labor, like when I'm in 4th or 5th and I start to get on it with out up-shifting. When I turned the valve to let the water...- cheetah

Fuse 22 is good. I am on my way this morning to change the CPS. I have no idea how old the one in the truck is right now and I want it compleately ruled out. As a side not, I disconnected the cps last night while trying to get her started - the tach still registered! Odd...- cheetah

I was driving to work this afternoon, and came up to the big hill about 3/4 of a mile before I get to work. 94.5 HPOP Replacement
I did see a post / comment on the internet about how foamy oil is bad news for this engine - a lot worse than air in the fuel. It made me think of the last time I ran it, it sat and idled for a few minutes, shut it off and checked the oil. The dip stick was covered with air bubbles. I...- cheetah

94.5 HPOP Replacement
Morning, Bought my first diesel about one month ago. Got it for a good price because it didn't run right. I believe I figured out the problem, but wanted some additional input before I tear into the motor. For the record, the batteries and starter - all three are new as of yesterday...- cheetah

Electrical gremlins, no crank
Get a charger on it and let it sit all night. If your still getting the same symptoms, it's probably a bad battery(s).- cheetah
