86 to 92 style GP control
I just swapped a 7.3 from a 92 into my 86 F350. The truck was robbed of its relays etc before I got it so I need to figure out the best way to get some control on the glow plugs. The 7.3 has the harness and controller still on it, but I have no clue how to hook it up. Or would this be better off...- Rayzor

Used waste oil today!
I did up my first batch of waste Hydralic oil today. It was dry as I service the machine it came out of. In any case I mixed 60 gallons of diesel to 55 of the hydralic filtered it twice threw a 10 m and a 2M filter head. Filled up the back tank and went out. after switching tanks about a mile...- Rayzor

ATS turbo service parts?
I just scored a ats waste gate setup today. Its in overall good shape but I need some parts. When the guy took it off the truck he unbolted the exhaust elbow for some reason so I need that gasket as well as the gasket where it meets the manifold. ATS does not list parts on there sight. Coolant leak
I had not driven my truck in 3 days. This morning I came out and was just crawling around it checking it out. I noticed a small amount of coolant was dripping off the starter and off the bottom of the bell housing. I cleaned it all off and ran the truck around for a few miles and nothing showed...- Rayzor

Dumb question of the day(glowplugs)
Just ordered a set of motorcrafts from Rock auto. The question is when they are installed are you supposed to burn them once or twice before a first start. To break them in? I know it sounds kinda dumb, but a mechanic at my work told it will make them last longer. That being said, if true how...- Rayzor

3-4 inch exhaust on N.A 6.9
My 85 F250 is running the stock 6.9. I added a new injection pump and injectors from Oregon diesel. It runs really strong for having 120,000 miles on it. 86 glow plug controller
I just bought a 1986 F250 with 115,000 miles give or take 100,000. The glow plug controller is snapped off in the head and a new one was connected and zip tied up out of the way. I asume since its not installed it not reading the engine temp as it should. It starts fine in the morning if its...- Rayzor
