I use a detroit primary filter base and filter. Still the best most available 30 micron filter on the planet.
Any base with a 1-14 thread will have a plethora of filters available
Those black orings wont last.
They got crisp in 20k.
Its funny they are sending an early oring kit .
There is a reason I use OEM green rings and viton for the small.
Farmer rock, I bet you are cavitated or cracked head.
Any head gasket you buy today will be turbo spec.
If you want the good...
Yes the 4KW spins the engine much faster. Keep in mind no starter likes low batteries, denso style is the worst for this.
But if thing are in order you wont crank more than 3 seconds with a 4kw
If you rtv the cooler gaskets they will be ruined.
clean both surfaces perfectly and high tack them to the block is how I do it, and a little ,and I mean very little , aviation seal on the other side.
If you have a thick black oring for the cooler , it wont last.
There is no oil in head...
It all depends how its set up, mine doesnt shift till 35 in auto mode. It will shift at lower speeds in manual mode but oil pressure VS wear on the cone clutch is not something I need to test.
The gear splitting with a gear vendors DOES NOT happen at low speeds so you can take off at least 1 on the bottom.Maybe 2.
And I have enough torque with my cam to make up for gear gaps.
This is why I am putting a built 4r100 in the dually, if it craps out on the camping trip I can get one at any dealer., If the GV I have in there now does, Im down for who knows how long.
Otherwise I like it.
I ended up buying bolts from A supplier that used to service Luke when they were using USA bolts the caveat is they have a 5/8 head instead of 9/16.
Pretty sure I made a post on oil burners about the bolts I sourced
and I don't think the single Mass uses the spacer ring or any washers. FYI they...
The fitting on the filter for the return should have an orifice in it already.
it's mainly there to get any air bubbles out of the top of the fuel filter before the fuel gets to the IP
They are all the same, you have a spacer issue of some sort, OR maybe some casting flash on the case. Check the pulley step on the back against the 3g pulley.
This is the reason I didnt leave the 6G on my truck, no way to machine the case if I got stranded with a bad alt,LOL
Facet 40109. 3/8 npt fittings, built in check ball, is able to bee "pull thru". Mine has been on for 14 years. I use it for priming. Im pretty sure the check feature is why I have zero starting issues. I have it on a toggle . It is mounted in front of switch valve and I pull fuel thru a detroit...
