I bought a crossover pipe and it is awesome! Tried to buy a IP afterwards but couldn't get an answer. I don't do Fakebook... not sure why anyone would count on that for a business but what do I know!?! I guess I could 'get with the times' but probably by the time I do social media will have...
Sorry for the late reply! Yes I use a different belt size (6K 1105). If my picture looks a little weird to you it is because I mounted the CDR where the vacuum pump was... made for a clean install when I added the turbo.
Why don't you ditch that belt vacuum pump and install a small electric? You will be very happy with that cheap upgrade also. You have hydroboost so you are already 85.7% there!
I put a Dynomax system on my N/A and it was noisy as hell. I hated the racket. Yes, maybe a slight performance gain but I think I was just pushing it harder trying to outrun the drone.
My final fix was to put a turbo on. With the same exhaust it is now very quiet for normal driving but still...
About 3/8" protrudes out of the dash. I am also picky about appearance, I really wanted it to be rear-mounted and invisible but that wouln't work. I am happy with the fit and finish of my install.
Hey! I am running a Baby Moose... not messing with it. But ya, mebe could see a little black I guess.
My pull is not for real, just the local guy doing the demo pull.
P.S. Joke in the neighborhood is that I could never have a girlfriend... damn truck is a mobile landmark, can't hide from anyone!
Nope, you need one that is compatible with the hydro. There are some post here with dimensions and comparison pics... I think I posted one too. You need that part, rebuilds don't come with them.
This is what I did this past weekend :) I am a director of our local fair board and an organizer of the truck pull. I ran a demo pull with my truck to get things started. Not much see in my pull... Damn thing shifted into third, never did that before the turbo install.
We had eight trucks...
I added a factory turbo to my truck last spring and it does make a big difference. Max pressure I have seen so far is 9.5 psi and that is over 3000 rpm. I would like to see more boost earlier... might decide to upgrade to a WW. I will be visiting a dyno soon (as a follow up to my turbo...
you can make your own out of a small hydraulic jack if you know of someone with a metal lathe. I built mine (link in sig), the really cool thing about mine is the awesome digital gauge I used.
If you can't machine parts you can get a hydraulic porta-whatever-you-call-it... pump thing for...
Could be as simple at your TPS (throttle sensor on IP)... I forget the correct acronym for it (flip, filp ??). You should pull codes to see what the problem is before signing a death certificate.

Is this something you can brake clean and JB weld? :rotflmao
(Just read that one on the leaky fuel bowl thread and it struck me as funny here. Red Green thing...:bail)

You need a complete refresh on your D50. Big job on that axle. I recommend using Energy Suspension poly bushings for your pivots and spring bushings; XRF for ball joints and TRE. Do yourself a favour and don't try doing just some parts, get the satisfaction of doing everything and only...
