    @Farmer Rock that truck is extremely rare. you can sometimes find centurion crew cabs, they usually are powerstrokes, the extended crew cabs like that one are pretty hard to find. but that truck being an extended crew cab with an idi in it is like a very big needle in in a very very big haystack

    i have had the kit on my truck with a turned up pump for a bit more than 5K miles, and its been a little more than a year since we put it on. if you are buying a used kit i recommend rebuilding your turbo or finding a shop that can do it for you

    @Randy Bush probaly just a dually 10.25 that was swapped in. it says its a f-250 so my guess is at somepoint they wanted a dually 4wd truck and swapped the axle and put on dually fenders. what i am more curious about is does it have a dana 60 front axle.

    you can run the banks turbo kit without studs, it was designed to not make alot of boost. i have a 2nd gen banks wastegated kit on my truck with out studs. but if you do decide to do headgaskets and studs i have heard it is alot easier to do if you pull the engine out

    today i just about finished up the pillar gauges and then i discovered that i have a coolant leak from my radiator, which is a champion aluminum radiator that the previous owner installed and it is less than 5 years old

    @Adrenaline73 sounds like the glow plugs are getting old, plug in the block heater when the truck is cold and see if it starts easier. if it does it is your glow plugs

    @bilbo i recommend getting Ford Motorcraft ZD-9 glowplugs. they are the best ones you can get for your truck. Classic Diesel Designs sells Glow Plug harnesses if you need a new one

    i went to the junkyard today and got a ball hitch for $5 and a CB radio that looks like it already has mods in it for $15. hopefully i can go again tommorow because there is a Hadley air horn i want to get, just didnt have the tools with me today to get it

    i dont use the block heater cause i dont want to rely on it to start my truck. i run 5w-40 oil, i have installed Ford Motorcraft ZD-9 glow plugs and i have a good glow plug controller. i also recommend anti gel diesel additive, i use DieselKleen but there is lots of brands out there

    i put thread sealer on my brass fuel heater plug today, it sealed up and no longer leaks at higher RPM. time will tell how it holds up. hopefully my air intrusion problems are fixed now

    so today i installed the CDD feed line correctly and it doesn't leak anymore. i would give it 4 out of 5 stars because the black aluminum fittings feel cheap for the price you pay for it and it doesn't come with instructions. tomorrow i need to put thread paste on my brass fuel heater plug...

    @Exhumis no i havent tried russrepair, R&D doesnt have feed lines on the website. it seems that the fitting that is leaking is missing an O ring so atleast i know i did not do it wrong.

    so today i installed my filter head with a fuel heater delete plug and a new filter and i installed a soft feed line from Wes. i cannot lie to you guys i am fucking disappointed with the feed line. i paid $45 for it plus $13 shipping ($58 total) i installed it correctly and everything is tight...

    i tracked down a fuel leak to the fuel heater. i bought the plug and the tap and i tapped it straight and the plug will not thread in, i will try a different plug next. the filter for my truck is a Napa 3617 not a 3417. 3617 has 10 holes in the top and 3417 has 6 holes
