    I would bet on more than 1 rod being bent but no tacos. Surprised it's not knocking like crazy, much less running. You have an '83 block (maybe) so check if there is a crack at the block heater freeze plug location over the starter. Better off with another engine. IMHO

    And why we chose to go to electric fuel pumps (proven dependable ones). If this vehicle sits a lot, could be gathering moisture in the tank(s). Parking on a hill, nose up, may also have pickup strainer deteriorated. Sucking air somewhere.

    Also check that your throttle cable has the foam insulator on it where it rests on the injector line on driver's side. Will cause tick heard inside cab. Replacement non-OEM cable may not have this feature. Simple fix.

    Yeah, your air is 'thinner' now & you need to make this adjustment to even the fuel/air mixture ratio.

    Ohm the installed ones for bad ones & replace before starter goes again. I use the DB Electric...fast shipping. I get 2 when I purchase, same shipping price, keep a spare. Cheap but last for me. Spin the engine quicker than standard Mitsubishi.

    Don't forget to check the big plug connection where the yellow wires meet at passenger side valve cover. 8 seconds or less will help the GPs live longer. Advance your pump a hair to help with starting also. Are you still running the stock fuel separator?

    Should not read higher than 20 at idle. You may have a blockage or problem restrictor valve. What does it read driving, say 35-45 mph.

    Don't snug it. Tighten UP!! Been there. Grease up the inside of the shackle tube.

    Also be sure you have all the fuel line vibration clamps when you reinstall. Missing 1 on driver's side (unless you removed).
