Probably just one of those cars that will never die! Lol my buddy had a 80 Honda Accord and no matter what happened to it( including engine fire) never stoped it. Only went to scrap because we couldn't locate a fuel tank for it after he jumped it and landed on a rock. 200$ cAr went like two...
Which facet pump should I choose by part number? Some say the 9-12 psi one works better than 5-7? Should I try that one and adjust timing after if it get to be advanced with slightly higher pressure?
Is the duralift the one I want for reliability as well? Like I can instal and forget about it for at least a few years like my lift pump? And thanks for finding the thread On it I tried to locate last night I search but couldn't locate! I will read up on it today
If switching to electric lift pump will I need a higher output pump for my 90cc ip? What all parts will I need to do the switchover? Regulators? Special connectors to go into fuel system with new pump? Anything just easy bolt on?
If you don't have a turbo that would make a hood stack even more difficult not to mention without a turbo you are going to want some kind of exhaust system becaus you will want a little back pressure. Not a gasser muffler amount of back pressure just some pipe, at least a side dump set up or...
Im planning on changing all out to synthetic besides motor oil, is there any brands I should try to get/avoid? Type for transmission? Transfercase? Powersteering? All is getting changed now I know they are past due by now. Brake fluid Is gonna be kinda flushed out by bleeding brake and needing...
Any recomendations and brake pads, brake shoes, and fluid types? Fluids would be transmission(zf5) transfercase, and differentials front and rear f350 not limited slip, and powersteering fluid? Maybe brake fluid type if that matters really?
I've ran two different turbos now on it, always wanted a intercooler but was held back by my wide style radiator. When radiator finally went I decided to go all out and install core support, radiator and intercooler at same time.
Fuel line shows no leaks! Valve cover at shop being cleaned and prepped for painting. @Thewespaul im thinking boost guage is not working or line pinched somewhere inspecting now. Throttle cable slack taken care of now intake tightened. Only showed 7psi on highway run max at 2800 rpms but I went...
Just replaced fuel line, however I did just discover my throttle cable has broken its sleeve and appears to have a lot of play now I'm going to have to replace and see wht happens. It was a cheap from discount auto. Lesson learned again cheap parts never seem to work out long
Better off warrantee then sell to get some money back or return for money back if possible and spend just a little more the get a quality pump from typ4, r and d , or conestoga. You won't be disappointed
The collapse section of the shaft has a plastic sleeve that when worn or broke causes lots of play I replaced mine and it was like a whole new world after. Their Is also u joints in the steering shaft as well
Pre turbo exhaust leaks I've covered pretty well now hopefully unless something else came up now, it's sounds like my turbo is spooling the the moon and back. I almost think my intake hats leaking at higher pressures. I'm gonna try and tighten the waste gate down maybe tap the hat for a air...
I tried to put a bungy on the gate and pull towards the front of truck, not very tight don't want to hurt anythjng but I feel like I should be making more boost and I think back pressure is making waste gate leak only seeing 10psi currently. Waste gate Is not connected to boost right now custom...
When pop pressure is increased it can be harder on the pump, but I've read somewhere that there is power potential with higher pop pressures if the pump can handle it/supply the fuel but I maybe wrong. It also may be the other way with Lower pop pressure the duration of the fuel spray would be...
Don't open the door till someone's knocking at it! Maybe you resurfaced/cleaned the head gasket surfaces or other areas before installing heads and while cleaning it got some stuff into oil somehow?
It's looks relitibly clean but 8100 could get you a nice obs crew cab 7.3idi 5 speed truck that's also going to be nice and lower miles also. But a bull nose fan may want it, it's also a candidate for becoming just a classic stock truck and stores away because one day it could be worth some...
With twin I beam check all the bushings on the suspension that can also play a factor, new shocks can help also because their bushings can also cause some slop. If they are old and bulging and cracked looking it's likely that isn't helping your steering. Is the steering wheel loose with play?
I did cut my hood latch support to make it easier to instal, how thick are ac condensers? I still have some extra room behind my grill, though it is it true I do not have ac in the way. I had my extra billet grill ready in case the stock grill didn't give clearance for it
Just one from oriellys, upgrade will come later but I needed to stay on the road and had to change out my wide style core support and leaking radiator for tall skinny support and new radiator. It's got plastic tanks but have warrantee for a while so we will see, as of now it's not leaking and...
Well taxes are on their way back! We will see what happens after I complete sim general maintainance on my truck first then the bronco will get some parts
