Was 4 wheeling with the boy the other day and ripped the plug off the block heater. Oops. Is anyone familiar with the wiring so I can wire up a new plug? green is in the middle so I’m guessing that’s ground?
Ah that’s cool, makes sense. I just put in new ball joints and tie rods, had it aligned at a shop and they said the camber shims looked good and the tires are wearing fine so I think I’ll leave it alone. Thanks for the info guys.
Been doing research and can’t find straight answer, so I come to you fellow oil burners. Do I need new front leafs? They don’t feel particularly sproingy like they’re wore out. The front has a rough country add a leaf for a modest lift. The PO told me it had a lift so that must be what he...
I went with these guys

I just called them direct and walked through what I wanted. The seat cover I got was so close to factory I can't tell the difference. Yes I know it's not a bench but they might be able to help you out.
Walmart everstart group 65s. I live in Northern Virginia and we see cold temps, down into the low 20s in winter and she always cheeches every time. I have a 94. Sorry forgot to add they’re 850cca. I got them cuz they were inexpensive, I use my truck for hunting and infrequently so I couldn’t...
Took the boy 4 wheel’n and somehow managed to rip the plug off the block heater. So that’s fun. It was worth it tho, kid had no idea what was up until I hit the ditch at a steady trot and he bounced as high as the seatbelt would let him.
I was gonna suggest a diesel shop as well. Where I live there’s lots of mechanic shops but only one has an old head that knows idis and it’s an off road shop. No one else will even look at it. You know it’s a bad sign when you call and explain and the person on the other end says IDI? What’s...
Replaced it. I bought new foam as the old was trashed and nasty and sent it to them along with the old nasty cover. They matched it and sent all back with a new cover.
Finally got the seat upgrade finished. Big shout out to US Auto Nation who helped me figure out which seat cover fit over my seat(there are 4 possibilities)
Do you have a lift on your rig? I have a 4" rough country on mine with 285s. Every shop I called and asked about an alignment quoted me $300 because of the lift, they figured it'd be throwing off the camber and they'd have to shim it. I have some outside wear on the tires. I took it to a Mr...
Yup, she’s 13 as well. Still does stairs ok albeit slowly but I can tell the fire is dwindling. She’s got a bunch of lumps that are spreading so we’re just enjoying her time with us
