    Ok well I went out and spun the fan. Or tried to. Could barely move it so I guess the clutch is OK.

    I noticed when I shut it off today the fan spun for a good nuther 30 seconds or so. That sound bad?

    Finally finished the rust proofing. Cooroseal entire frame, rust converter and painted body undercarriage.

    Thanks man. I’ve put a lot of work into it, mostly just cleaning. I rescued it from a farm. They were good on maintenance but short on cleaning. I’m probably going to sell it so if you’re close to VA let me know.

    Replaced various and sundry connectors starting with this manky headlight switch connector that was way past retirement.

    22 here today also. Actually had to use the cold start procedure. She started though.

    Transmission service(unintentional) and new shift solenoid(intentional). New shift solenoid completely fixed my shifting problems.

    Well after cleaning all the connectors I took it out and beat it like a rug and got the od light to flash, came back and ran codes and finally got a code!     Sadly I already checked, it was aligned. I pulled it, cleaned it and reinstalled and realigned it just to be sure.

    It’s picking up codes cuz it replies with an 11. I guess the trs could be failing but when I ohm’d it it measured within specs. Man I like this truck but the way the trans is set up drives me nuts.
