    Towing mirrors

Beware of the ebays chinese knockoffs. The case quality isn't bad but the mirrors themselves are chit and distorted and vibrate a lot. Ask me how I know lol

    Towing mirrors

Are your current mirrors power adjust? I like the look and better functionality of the 08+ super duty mirrors. They're a direct bolt on but you may have to modify the wiring a little bit, no big deal.

    Tempted by Newer Truck

Thats a drop dead gorgeous 87 man, not much else to add lol. I loved my 6.0 it was more comfortable, quieter and faster than my idi ever will but it wasn't cheap by any means. Stock 6.0s that don't need major work are without a doubt the exception and not the rule. Once they're addressed...

    7.3 powerstroke into a pre 92 Econoline .

Go for it. Wiring can't be that different from a truck. Someone here put a powerstroke in a pre 92 truck without swapping the whole dash, etc

Give me a damn Christmas starter recommendation.

I'm 2 years in on an autozone unit. Not sure if theyre great or if I just never overworked the thing cause my truck starts pretty quickly. I second @Thewespaul. imo good batteries, cables, glowplugs and fuel system has a lot to do with how long the starter will live.

LOL oh I know...I almost bought a truck just to steal the alcoas off of it and junk the rest. My wife had to pound some sense back into me ;Pissed

I want a nee Dodge for Christmas - which one?

I've read that a 5.9 will fit quite nicely in a Super Duty. Depending on what transmission you choose, you can leave it alone and run electric fans or shift everything back and use the cummins' mechanical fan. That means you may have to drill new holes in the crossmember or frame if moving it to...
