Passenger side coolant leak
If it’s heater core you may also want to take a look at the carpet underneath the glove box. May have gotten some in there too. I imagine a good carpet cleaning would get it up. I had mine leaking in there and after I fixed the core I never cleaned the carpet though, little dark spots in it still :/- Stu Bailey

Hijack away! Gives me some good reading material haha I got the truck in the shop after work. Stupid me was trying to jump the wrong relay posts. So my favorite quotes from the last replies. “Send it” and “you probably checked that first” haha I did pull a couple fuses and looked but not all of them, it got dark and started to freeze out there. I’m going to have to give it a couple whacks tomorrow after work and see if that won’t wake it up. The thing is it was cranking when i mashed the switch forward but then I put a screwdriver across those two terminals on the lower relay and it wouldn’t crank anymore after that… I was thinking...- Stu Bailey

So my dad finally shipped his 61 Falcon and 85 F250 (I convinced him to buy). The truck has the 6.9 in it and an automatic tranny. Water pump going bad?
I did my water pump about a year ago or so and went with the flowkooler. I love it. You can see the quality right out the box. In December I drive cross country with my 86 250 with a 6.9 and came across the scales at 11,700lbs. Truck never over heated across the mountains or continental divide- Stu Bailey

Thanks for the input guys. It sounds like it would be a cool fun car but yup, been reading a lot how SLOW they are. That’s kind of turning me off to it now. I’m thinking maybe just holding out the cash and putting it back into the IDI :Thumbs Up- Stu Bailey

That sounds sick!! I ended up meeting a lot of guys who were in the coast guard and got stationed in Maine and absolutely loved it. @IDIBRONCO So I stayed outside Badlands National Park in SD on Sunday night. Little town called Wasta. At first glance I was thinking Bart the list was a bit exhaustive but then I realized I actually had most of the stuff lol 100% though I will be getting a couple blocks of 2x4 and an air compressor. 38 gallon rear Fuel tank

So what did you do with your truck today?
Not so much my truck but what I did was convince my dad to buy this 85 6.9! It was an old date farm truck down in So Cal outside of Palm Springs. He was able to pick it up for 3K and the guy delivered it to his house about 90 minutes away. it needs some cosmetic work for sure but it is a 4x4...- Stu Bailey

Diesel Fuel Additives
I’ve heard good things about the Stanadyne but I’ve never used it personally. There’s a whole slew of stuff we all use so I imagine it will be whatever you can get easily and cheap. For me that’s Renewable Lubricants Soy based diesel fuel conditioner. Currently free LOL- Stu Bailey

Finally got around to buying the sending unit for the front tank. It’s been inop for almost two years now I would say. I was planning on pumping out as much fuel as I can and then just throwing the new sending unit in and keeping an eye on the FWS. I would change that and the fuel filter after...- Stu Bailey
