Touchless car wash?
Find it strange that they would tow it by the rims and not the big shiny tow rings on the front bumper???
If that is salt water they should tow it to fresh water and give'r another dunking or two.;Really
I found this kit for sale in Toronto from a Nissan dealer. http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/pts/5127803982.html
Asking $250 Canadian and appears to have:
j 33300 meter
J 33043, J 33043-4, J 33043-4 gauge blocks for GM 6.2 (totally useless just like the GM 6.2 :rotflmao)
MT160...
Mine is doing the same thing. Actually, my OD 'off' light will start to flash. Tach sensor is gone; shell out another $100! P/n E5TZ-17B384-A
Sensor is on top of the IP gear cover.
It would be nice to the D60 swap. I bought a whole truck for $350 that was headed for the scrap yard (missing rear end and tranny); after removing the front axle and some other goodies I got $280 at the scrap yard so the axle was pretty much free. I totally rebuilt my D60 and it cost me about...
Bumpers should be practical and not pretty :D Mine is made of 10" channel, 8.4 lbs/ft (as opposed to the real heavy stuff). The winch has additional support; the outer ends are designed to be a fail point before bending the frame.
Older picture before I repainted the truck (and bumper)...
I would really like to go to a rally but the date always proves difficult. I read through all of this thread and thought I would repeat a couple of key ideas that were suggested:
1. Consider a different date
2. Change the rally to include all others (non-idi) - I suggest "oil burners...
I went from a D50 to D60 on my F250. The turning radius on the D60 is significantly better. After a year with the D60 I am still surprised...
F250 extended cab must turn like a bus.
If you are keeping the truck for a while I recommend a stainless brake line set from Inline Tube.
Note: If you buy a new or rebuilt hydroboost it probably does not come with the push rod that connects to your brake pedal...
I made my own mounts. The front I bolted 4 x 4 angle into existing frame holes; this angle has a square tube "receiver" to receive a longer bar that has a chain point for the turnbuckles. This basically replaces the "grader blade" belly bar. I welded this up so the bars just clear the body...
Check the D60 link in my signature. All of the part numbers are listed there.
Edit: Mine is ball joint, not sure if there is any difference in your older axle.
+1
It won't work unless your trailer has brakes.

My experience with this is just buy new ones. I have taken them apart, ultrasonic bath, reassemble... they just seem to act up again.
Hopefully you can pop test them - if they pop test then leave them. If they fail just screw a new one in.

Just a suggestion... I have had parts water jet cut and it's not that expensive. For my parts I did up an AutoCad drawing, sent them a dxf file and a piece of stock. Setup time is nothing for them. I am not sure what the tolerance is for your flange but I think the WJ would be fine. There is...
The light will work but you need a piezo type adapter. Check this out http://www.toolsource.com/diesel-injection-detector-timing-adapter-p-73805.html
I don't think that timing light is adjustable so you will need a OB timing tape that adds HP just by installing it.
the ferret adapter is a...
