Oil change interval
Back on the subject of oil filtration. I have a 0.060 orifice feeding a remote turbo. The return is to the oil fill neck, so I can see the volume, and it is substantial. How about I insert a 2 micron, oil filter in the turbo feed line?- raydav

Analog oil pressure gauge
The typical (only?) oil pressure indicator is an analog gauge, a pressure switch, and a resistor on the circuit board that sets the meter at mid range. If you are suggesting a Y off the line to the turbo after the 0.060 turbo restrictor, that will not play because I have tuned that restrictor and anything taken from that line would be taking from the turbo. I don't find any info on the "supplied restrictor". I assume it is a separate part...- raydav

"Model OC-25 Oil Centrifuge with Air Assist Oil Return" I assume the air pump will force the return oil up hill if necessary. If the outlet can be above the return, no back pressure, entry point in the engine, can the air pump be eliminated?- raydav

Ford headlights stink - what to do?
The vans kept the 5x7 sealed beam after the F series went to plug in H series bulbs. If I don't find anything under the valve cover, I intend to swap #3 and #7 injectors, and see if the error moves. What are the gotchas? I have an IDI where O ring thickness is critical. I have a 2001, E350, 22 Ft, cutaway that was a Denver Int hotel shuttle. It weighs 11K. When I got it it could not carry passengers because the passenger door was damaged. The switch on the dryer is a low pressure switch. Monitor the output side of the switch and I believe you will see it correlate with the compressor clutch engagement. We have been doing these 9K trips for at lest a decade; mostly with the 89 IDI, this year with the 93 replacement, and 2015 and 2016 with a 351W in a 65 Mustang. I don't recall ever using enough oil to get my attention. I also use Rotela T6 in my gas engines.- raydav
